Firearms are the main types of evidences which can be collected from a crime scene. Firearms must be photographed at the beginning and then it should be investigated. According to the evidence collection guidelines, a loaded gun should not be transported directly to the laboratories as there can be unfired cartridges left behind inside the firearm.
